How to Apply

For New Customers

Here’s how you can apply for tax-exempt status through Refub Tech.

Step 1: Set Up Your Business Account

Begin by creating a business account on our website using your organization’s verified information. This will help us associate your exemption with your purchases.

Step 2: Provide Required Documents

Send your valid tax exemption certificate or reseller permit by email to
support@refubtech.com

Please include your organization’s name and the email address connected to your Refub Tech account. This information ensures a faster review.

Step 3: Document Review and Approval

Our finance department will review the documents within 1–2 business days. Once approved, your account will be marked as tax-exempt, and all qualifying future purchases will automatically reflect that status.

For Returning Customers:

If your organization has already been approved for tax exemption:

  • Maintain Current Documentation: Ensure your certificates remain valid and updated.
  • Submit Renewals: If any documents expire or change, please send updated versions to support@refubtech.com to maintain compliance.

For Multi-State or Multi-Jurisdictional Exemptions

If your organization operates in more than one state:

  • Provide State-Specific Certificates: Submit valid exemption documentation for each applicable state.
  • Specify During Checkout: Indicate the state for which the tax exemption applies when placing orders.
  • Compliance Assurance: Refub Tech will securely store your exemption records and apply them appropriately for future transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
